Murch Family Under Barrage of Attacks!

When this update was written in February 2006, the Murch family was indeed in fairly dire straits.The following paragraph from the original update sums it up:

Battles on Several Fronts:

The Murch Family continues to be a thorn in the side of the enemy. In the face Beverly's deep depression, Lauren's mysterious illness, a wrecked van, and loss of most of our income, we continue to pound the gates of hell twice weekly at the nearest abortuaries and periodically in other places around the country.

Ken Parks, whom I (Bruce Murch) knew back in the 1970s and then again in the mid-1980s has launched an attack to "expose" me and my family because he disagrees with us concerning the rightness or wrongness of the killing of an abortionist by Paul Hill in Pensacola, Florida in 1994. That is really the long and short of it.

Since about 2004 or early 2005 he has tried to discredit me and my family with half-truths, distortions of things we have said or done, and some outright, bald-faced lies. Rather than waste our precious time answering all his charges, we choose simply to put up this page that he has linked from his site to make a simple refutation and an offer of explanation.

For this brief article, let me just update the readers with the current facts:

• God miraculously restored us to financial and bodily health. We have not solicited for ministry donations for three years (since as an entire family, we are really no longer regularly active in ministry).
• Lauren's mysterious illness vanished, and she is now married, and pregnant with our second grandchild.
• Our family business is successful and adequate for our support.
• Beverly's cancer is gone, and her depression is being managed without medication, but with diet and supplementation and she is doing better than she has her whole life.
• Here is a link to the update we posted in January 2007 detailing how God had delivered us from these hardships.

In a nutshell: We were not experiencing hardships because we were being punished by God, as Ken Parks repeatedly alleges. In fact, it was God's miraculous intervention that relieved this distress, without us being "repentent" about anything we believe or do in our ministry efforts.

Having said that, we acknowledge that we are wretched, sinful creatures, and can only do ANYTHING we do by God's grace and strength, which we neither deserve, nor can claim any credit for.

Before you accept any information that Ken Parks puts forth on his web pages, you might want to check out the site: http://www.ministrywarning.com. I am not sure who put up this site, and have had NO input into it whatsoever, but it certainly shows the character and method of the man who has put up this slander site against me and my family. Contained in this website are links to warnings from other ministries about Ken Parks and his "ministry". There is also a tedious detail about his personal life, arrest records, a conviction for battery and trespassing, and a fugitive-status arrest warrant issued in Connecticut for harassment.

Ken has similar sites up about other "liars and deceivers" like me.

There may be others. This is Ken's way of disagreeing with folks or retaliating for perceived wrongs.

We forgive Ken Parks for his slander and sin against me and my family. We wish him no evil, but that he would find a place of repentance and forgiveness in Christ. May the reader exercise judgment and discernment when reading.
