Mission Update:

Murch Family Under Barrage of Attacks!

When this update was written in February 2006, the Murch family was indeed in fairly dire straits. The following paragraph from the original update sums it up:

Battles on Several Fronts:

The Murch Family continues to be a thorn in the side of the enemy. In the face Beverly's deep depression, Lauren's mysterious illness, a wrecked van, and loss of most of our income, we continue to pound the gates of hell twice weekly at the nearest abortuaries and periodically in other places around the country.

We Thank God For Meeting Every Need!

Planned Parenthood in Roanoke, VA.

Since this appeal went out, we have an excellent report concerning God's provisions for us.

While Beverly continues to suffer from depression, she is doing better, thanks to your prayers.

Lauren is doing well now, and active in Bible school, evangelism and helping families with autistic children.

Our title examination business is building back up, and our financial situation has improved dramatically, and we have had no need to appeal for any funds since the early Fall of 2006.

Our family/ministry van, which had been wrecked, is now back in perfect working order, God granting us the wherewithal to pay for the repairs! We have also been able to replace one of our aged vehicles, since the title work requires almost 200 miles per day of travel.

FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP

The Murches have no credit cards and no car loans. We lease our farm from pro-life, Christian friends at a bargain basement price. We don't buy anything we don't have the money for. Our debt primarily consists of Beverly's many medical bills from her battle with uterine cancer. We do everything we can to be excellent stewards of whatever God provides for us, either through donations or through the labor of our hands. We are willing to do ANY labor that becomes available for our support, and are not simply falling upon donations and unwilling to do jobs that seem "beneath us". We have always been bi-vocational, with the exception of the Operation Rescue years, when we lived entirely on support from the Body of Christ as Bruce spent most of his ministry time in jail and in court.

We are accountable to our local church, its pastor and elders. They are a small church, but generously support our family and our ministry as Home Missionaries. Pastor Riley Ware can be reached via email at rwware@swva.net.

WHAT WE ARE ASKING OF GOD'S PEOPLE:

First, we are asking you to make a committment to pray DAILY for the Murch Family and their ongoing ministry efforts, and especially for Beverly and Lauren. If you are willing to make that committment, please contact us and let us know.

Second, we are asking that you help us financially with whatever you feel led of the Lord to do. If you can support us for a certain amount monthly for six months or a year, please let us know. If you would like to commit to paying for one month's worth of gas for the vehicle, or one week's worth, or can help us get the van damage paid off so we can get it back, or ANYTHING, no matter how large or small, it will be greatly appreciated.

OUR NEED IS ONGOING. If you can help, please click the "Donate On-Line" page of this site. This is a completely secure donation method. If you wish to send help via the US Mail, please click the "Contact Us" link. Donations must be made to Beverly Murch and are NOT tax deductible.

WE ARE COMMITTED TO CONTINUING IN THE WORK GOD HAS SET BEFORE US, WITHOUT COMPROMISE, AS HE GIVES THE STRENGTH AND THE RESOURCES TO CONTINUE THE FIGHT AGAINST PUBLIC WICKEDNESS AND TO PREACH THE GOSPEL!

Thank you for you prayerful consideration for our family and ministry, and may Christ and His mercy be your Cup & Portion.
