Day 4: W. Lebanon, Concord & Manchester, New Hampshire

Full Quiver Mission and Missionaries to the Preborn descend upon New Hampshire, home of the motto "Live Free or Die". That motto however, only applies to people that are already born, according to many in New Hampshire. The Founders would be rolling in their graves.

The first stop was West Lebanon, home of the only Planned Parenthood killing center in the state. Beverly and the youngest Murch children, Elijah and Josiah, set up on the public right of way in front of a Kentucky Fried Chicken / Taco Bell. The restaurant was closed as it was early in the morning. One of the employees set up a sprinkler near Bev and children and turned it on. Beverly moved a few feet so as to be out of the spray. The employee came over again and moved the sprinkler so it would get her and the children wet. This time, Bev moved the sprinkler a foot or so, so that she wouldn't end up in the street.

A local reporter began to question Bev, and made a big deal of the fact that she "improperly touched someone's private property". Bruce happened to be there at the time and asked the reporter which was worse, that someone would deliberately turn a sprinkler on a woman and her two small children as they stood on public property, or that the mother moved the sprinkler after being repeatedly sprayed with it? The reporter, interested in making news rather than reporting it, continued to hammer Bev about "private property". Beverly may seem quiet and reserved on the surface, but when it comes to the babies, she is a fireball! She lit into the reporter, rebuking her and calling her to repentance for her advocacy of baby-killing. The police, who were close by, weren't sure how to handle this, and shooed the reporter away. They then went in to talk to the KFC employee. That was the end of the sprinkling.

Down the road, though, another of the missionaries got thoroughly soaked with a garden hose by another business owner who "accidentally" hit our man while trying to spray shrubs 20 feet away.

Lousy aim.

Jesse Murch (11) holds the Line of Many Murches that stretches out to the Planned Parenthood abortion mill, just past the traffic light.

In spite of the vitriol, there are still those willing to listen, and open to debate. The Word went forth. A half mile down the road, Denny Green of Petersburg, VA contends with a lone counter-protestor carrying a "Gore / Lieberman" sign. He just doesn't get it.

Mark Diener of Pennsylvania preaches the Gospel with the Truth Horn, while a local cop explains to some residents exactly why it is that we have the right to be here, say what we're saying, and show these pictures. It's a shame that college-educated adults in America have to be explained the Constitution and the Bill of Rights

Concord

Pastor Matt Trewhella's son, Crispen raises the standard over Concord. The street preachers and the Moms with small children got much of the media attention, and Beverly did several interviews.  Below, Mark exalts the Name of Christ to the local TV station.

Manchester

The Manchester Police were not particularly happy to see us, and shut down our literature distribution quickly, not allowing the missionaries to approach cars sitting at stop lights. They also brought out the mounted police "just in case". Jesus is Lord over Manchester (whether they like it or not).

An irate resident is not happy we are lining her Main Street, and not happy we are taking her picture. She thinks baby-killing is just fine. Two of the missionaries are squirted with a squirt gun. Trouble was, it wasn't filled with water. The young man was placed under arrest and missionaries were later told it was an "oily household substance".

Several locals from New Hampshire and the Boston area joined us at this stop, for which we were grateful.

All in all though, it was a great town to leave.
