On Friday, June 27, A.D. 2003,  the Supreme Court refused to hear the Nuremberg Files case, leaving the 9^th Circuit Court’s ruling intact. That act has made the exposing of abortionists through flyers and posters permanently a "life-threatening" and actionable activity.

The Supreme Court, by its refusal to hear the case, has agreed that the “threats” are to be determined by the subjective “feelings” of the hearer, rather than the content of the speech. The First Amendment Is Dead!

The short-term result of this is that Bruce Evan Murch and eleven other men and women who produced posters that had no threatening language in them; and no threatening intent behind them; have a LIFE-LONG multi-million dollar judgment against them. They can never own property. They can never have a conventional job, without the automatic confiscation of their income going directly to Planned Parenthood.

WHY? Because the Court has determined that it makes NO DIFFERENCE what you say. It makes NO DIFFERENCE what your intent is. If you are a pro-life Christian and you expose the wicked, if they FEEL threatened, you are GUILTY of making a “true threat to kill or do bodily harm” to them.

The twelve members of the now-defunct American Coalition of Life Activists now have a financial LIFE SENTENCE upon them.

These men and women: BRUCE EVAN MURCH; ANDREW BURNETT; DAVID CRANE; TIMOTHY PAUL DRESTE; MICHAEL DODDS; JOSEPH L. FOREMAN; CHARLES ROY MCMILLAN; CATHERINE RAMEY; DAWN MARIE STOVER; MICHAEL BRAY; DONALD TRESHMAN; and CHARLES WYSONG; are guilty of nothing more than exposing publicly the wickedness of abortionists, but now, because of the actions of a “Christian” President (who told the Supreme Court not to take the case) and Republican-appointed justices and judges, every Christian that tries to expose abortion, homosexuality, or any other evil, can be sued in Court for MAKING DEATH THREATS, and the suit WILL PREVAIL.

The ramifications of this cannot be exaggerated. It is a death blow to First Amendment protections. You can no longer count on your speech and words to be protected as you preach, witness or hand out literature. Any time anybody feels “threatened” by your words, you are now GUILTY of threatening their life! And if they choose to sue you, you can and will lose everything you own.

The die is cast.

So, “Who will rise up for Me against the evildoers?”, God asks in Psalm 94, “or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”

We will. We count all that we have as dung to be obedient to God’s holy Word. I know that there is a temptation to let fear control the decisions that you make as to what activities you become involved with, and how much “risk” you are willing to expose yourself to for the sake of the Gospel.

But in times like this, it becomes even more important for Christians to take a stand for righteousness. As the civil authorities apply more pressure for society to accept the rampant evils of abortion, sodomy, fornication and adultery, it becomes more and more important for Christians to rise up and oppose it.

These things are still (supposedly) protected activities.
