Murch Kids Train at New School of Evangelism.

Ministry Tours Out West,
in Virginia, Philadelphia Area
& Massachusetts.

Three of the Murch children, Lauren (19), Sam (17) and Jesse (16) are now attending Faithful Soldier School of Evangelism near Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This school was started by street preacher Jason Storms, longtime friend of the Murch Family and Full Quiver Mission. The school is being run as a ministry of Mercy Seat Christian Church, of which Jason is an associate minister, and son-in-law of Pastor Matt Trewhella, founder of Missionaries to the Preborn.

The school is running from September 1 to December 1, 2006, and is an intensive training in apologetics, along with hands-on training in the field. Even though the Murch kids have done this ministry virtually all of their lives, they are excited to be a part of this school, and phone home almost daily reports of their mission work. This consists of almost daily ministry on local college campuses, besides their school work, and working weekend jobs at local businesses to earn their support money for their living expenses.

Headed West Tour

The School of Evangelism took part in the Missionaries to the Preborn "Headed West Tour" last month, ministering in the street and college campuses of North & South Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. This 2-week long tour caused "no small stir" in the local papers as they went from city to city with the gospel message and their message to turn from the sins of abortion and sodomy. Hundreds of students gathered to listen and debate. We pray for ongoing fruit from this endeavor.

HERE is a link to an article about one of their campus preaching tour stops at South Dakota University.

East Coast Tour

The School of Evangelism begins their East Coast Ministry Tour on October 15th with the Virginia Tour of Life & Liberty Ministries, the Philadelphia Campus Tour with Repent America, a Salem, Massachusetts Halloween Tour of their own planning, and a trip to the Southeast United States.

The School of Evangelism will join the Denny Green Family and Life & Liberty Ministries and hopefully, the remainder of the Murch Family for the annual Virginia Tour in our own home state. We have been struggling financially as many of you know, and are trying to raise the expenses for this week-long ministry event. This will include campus ministry stops in Richmond and Farmville, up north to Fairfax, and will conclude with a day of activity in Maryland and Washington, DC. If you are able to help us with the expenses of this trip, we would greatly appreciate it.

Philadelphia Campus Tour

The School of Evangelism will join Evangelist Michael Marcavage and Repent America for a campus preaching tour from October 23-27. This is always a great tour. There will be stops at West Chester University, Temple, and several others, along with street preaching, literature distribution and sign ministry in downtown Philadelphia.

Salem, Mass. Halloween Tour

The kids will be headed for a 4-day New England Tour in October as well. Massachusetts is our former home state, and the birthplace of Sam and Jesse (and six other Murch kids). They are looking forward to a return there, their first since the Spring of 2002. This will feature outreach in Salem, Mass., home of the famous Witch Trials, to minister there during Halloween Festival celebrations, where Satanists turn up each year in large numbers.

Down South Tour

The kids will be headed for as yet undisclosed locations in the Southeast United States in November as well. We will give an update as the plans unfold.

Please pray for our ongoing ministry work. Right now, the work at home is suffering for a lack of funds. We want to return to the abortuary in Roanoke, VA on a weekly basis which we have not been able to do, as well as ministry events in the Philadelphia area with Michael Marcavage and Repent America, as well as events closer to home with Life & Liberty Ministries in the greater Richmond area.

As I mentioned, we are in need of funds for the rest of our family to participate with our children on any of these tours, particularly the Virginia tour in our home state, and the Philadelphia tour which we participate in a couple of times a year. Our family van needs a $250 repair before it will pass inspection, along with the week's worth of expenses for the trip, another $500 approximately.
